Our Accent Reduction Methods

We will give you excellent practical training in accent reduction. Our Registered Speech-Language Pathologists are located in central Vancouver. They will help you learn to speak dynamically. You will learn to use the pronunciation and intonation of Canadian English. With our pre-paid programs, you will receive:

Phonetic speech analysis of your accent and voice that identifies areas for improvement
Detailed and professional instruction from a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Individually designed accent modification program that includes special vocabulary used in the workplace
Personal attention and private tutorial time, plus group sessions with a maximum of six people
Effective home practice activities to maximize accent reduction
Certificate of completion

Three Accent Reduction Programs

Choose from three pre-paid accent reduction programs: private tutorials, or small group training, or intensive accent reduction programs that combine both private and group sessions. You will begin with an Initial Accent Reduction Consultation ($175). You and your instructor will choose the most suitable accent reduction program for you:

Private Accent Reduction Program

For a fee of $1225, this includes:

Workbooks and tapes to practice Canadian English pronunciation
12 tutoring sessions - 50 minutes each
One bonus session - 30 minutes
Complementary summary progress report upon request

Small Group Accent Reduction Program

For a fee of $625, this includes:

Workbooks and tapes to practice Canadian English pronunciation
10 group sessions - 90 minutes each
One bonus private session - 30 minutes
Complementary summary progress report upon request

Intensive Accent Reduction Program

For a fee of $1225, this includes:

Workbooks and tapes to practice Canadian English pronunciation
10 group sessions - 90 minutes each
10 private sessions - 30 minutes each
Complementary summary progress report upon request

Please note that additional fees may apply if you do not complete your program within six months.

A pay-as-you-go option is also available. A 50-minute private session is $125. Please note that bonus sessions, complementary reports, workbooks, and tapes are reserved for our pre-paid clients.
